I’ve tried both discovery and manual config and neither works, the error when hass is loading is: ERROR (SyncWorker_5) S20 at 192.168.1.240 couldn’t be initialized

I’d like to get them working in HA as they are very nice looking touch screen dimmer switches, with an audio input/output device and customizable scene control via the orvibo app, but have been unable to do so using the existing S20 integration. I’ve recently purchased some orvibo V70X / MixpadD1 smart switches.
